The Mayor Cllr Richard Bickford and Deputy Mayor Cllr Julia Peggs visited Saltash Tennis Centre to view the current facilities and learn about the centre's plans for the future.
Nov 2023 - Saltash Firefighter Bravery Award
The Mayor Cllr Richard Bickford and Mayoress Sarah Bickford attended the presentation of The Queen’s Bravery Award to Craig Jones by the Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall. Craig received the award for his prompt response in rescuing a family from a burning car on the A38, undoubtedly saving their lives, whilst off duty as a Saltash retained firefighter.
Sep 2023 - Saltash Foodbank
Deputy Mayor Cllr Julia Peggs attended Saltash FoodBank's coffee morning. The event raised funds for the foodbank in the town.
Aug 2023 - Tincombe Tea Party
On Saturday 26th August, the Mayor Cllr Richard Bickford and Mayoress Sarah Bickford, visited two community events in Saltash.
Tincombe tea party, showcased the amazing work the volunteers of Friends of Tincombe do, to make this green space in Saltash such a welcoming place for all.
It was lovely to see both events being so well supported by the residents of Saltash.
Aug 2023 - Saltash Community Fire Station Open Day
On Saturday 26th August, the Mayor Cllr Richard Bickford and Mayoress Sarah Bickford, visited two community events in Saltash.
The full range of emergency services were at the open day at Saltash Fire Station, with public participation a must, trying CPR, sounding the fire engine sirens or being locked in the back of a police van!
Jul 2023 - Visit from Mbare Church in Zimbabwe
The Mayor of Saltash Cllr Richard Bickford and Mayoress Sarah Bickford met four members of the Mbare Church in Harare Zimbabwe, who are guests of Saltash Wesley Church. The guests were shown around Saltash Guildhall and learnt about the historic building and the role and history of the council.
