Saltash Town Council Planning and Licensing Committees
Saltash Town Council is a Consultee with regard to Planning and Licensing Applications, whereas Cornwall Council are the Local Planning Authority for the County of Cornwall. All applicants are customers of Cornwall Council who forward applications to the various consultees once the Planning Application has been validated.
As a Consultee, the Town Council is not required to contact applicants to inform them of the meeting when their application will be listed for discussion. It is the responsibility of the applicant to contact the Town Council if requiring information regarding the Town Council's place in the planning process. Agendas are published three clear working days prior to a meeting and are widely advertised on the Town Council's Website, Noticeboards and Social Media Platforms.

Full details can be accessed on the Cornwall Council website – a link is provided on the Planning Applications table below to each application by clicking on the application number. Details can then be found under the ‘Documents’ tab. A list of consultees for each application can be viewed under the Comments Tab. Decisions from Cornwall Council will be noted when received. Applications will be removed from this page if the application is withdrawn.
Questions from the public
The Planning & Licensing Meeting is open to members of the public and press. Any member of the public requiring to put a question to the Town Council must do so 24 hours prior to the meeting by email to enquiries@saltash.gov.uk Members of the public who have registered to do so may speak a the discretion of the Chairman and with the approval of members of the Planning and Licensing Committee. A member of the public shall not speak for more than 3 minutes. A person who speaks at a meeting shall direct their comments to the Chairman of the meeting.
