Now that No Mow May is over we have been back at St Stephens Churchyard hard at work cutting the large grass areas. This takes time at this time of year, however the effort is worth the wait. You will see we are still trying to keep some wild areas to the edge of the grounds as we still want to encourage wildlife the this location.

Re-wilding areas we are looking to create

No Mow May

The service delivery Team will be taking part in the NO MOW MAY in various locations around Saltash. We do wish to point out that this won’t apply to some areas like the cemeteries, however some areas, edges, corners or around the base of trees will be left to encourage wildlife and natural plants to flourish. We will also be looking at some re-wilding areas and wild flower locations throughout the year. This is a positive step toward helping the local environment in the Town and encourage anyone to try this even in your own garden space.
