Cornwall Councils Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behavior expected from all councilors in Cornwall, the Localism Act 2011 requires the Council to adopt a Code of Conduct for Members that is consistent with the following general principles of public life:
- Selflessness
- Honest And Integrity
- Objectivity
- Accountability
- Openness
- Leadership
- Duty to uphold the law
- Personal judgement
- Stewardship
